About Us

Independent Since 2016. Working for You

— Not a Carrier.

When Anthony Acri opened this agency in April 2016, he made a specific choice: to operate independently rather than represent a single company. That decision shapes everything about how we work. We're not limited to one carrier's products, one company's pricing, or one set of options. We compare across the market, explain what we find, and place coverage that actually fits — for Pennsylvania businesses, families, and individuals.

Why We Made the Switch From Captive to Independent

Anthony started his insurance career as a captive agency owner — working for a single carrier, quoting one company's products. It didn't take long to see the limitation: one company doesn't have the best options for every client. Some carriers lead on workers comp rates for certain industries. Others are more competitive on commercial auto or home insurance. A captive agent can't tell you that, because they can only offer what their carrier provides.

Going independent in 2016 meant access to multiple carriers across every line of coverage — commercial, personal, and health. It also meant the freedom to put the client's situation first and shop the market rather than fit every need into one company's product portfolio. That's the difference between an independent agent and a captive one, and it's the reason independent agents in Pennsylvania consistently place more competitive coverage for small businesses and families who've taken the time to look.

RSSA — Retirement Services Support Associate

In April 2016, I made a career change into the insurance and financial services industry. I started as a captive agency owner and quickly realized that one company doesn't have the best options for everyone, so I made the decision to become an independent agent.

From my prior career in engineering, I brought a specific mindset to this work: identify the problem, understand it fully, then focus on the solution. My goal is to make sure every client understands what coverage they should have, why they should have it, and how much of it they actually need. If you have a question, you get an answer — not a voicemail.

The RSSA designation — Retirement Services Support Associate — reflects my focus on the retirement planning side of insurance. It's directly relevant to the Medicare and life insurance conversations I have with clients approaching or in retirement. Understanding how coverage decisions interact with retirement income, estate planning, and healthcare costs in later years makes those conversations more useful, not just more credentialed.

When I'm not working, look for me outside regardless of the season. I enjoy biking, boating, fishing, kayaking, and hunting — and if I had to pick one, it's probably boating. Doesn't matter if I'm anchored on a local lake or running on big water to fish.

I'm the proud owner of a 17-foot boat I built with my father, a 1969 John Allmand 25, and am currently rebuilding a 1974 Formula 233 hardtop. My wife of 35-plus years and our grand fur baby, Paris — a Staffordshire Terrier — are usually out there with me.

How We Work:

Multiple Carriers, One Agent, No Runaround

As an independent insurance agency in Camp Hill, we're not tied to any single carrier's rates, products, or underwriting guidelines. That independence means we can compare options across multiple carriers for every client — commercial auto, workers comp, general liability, business insurance, Medicare, life, and more — and place coverage where it's most competitive for your specific situation.

We specialize in commercial auto, trucking, contractor, and property lines, and serve businesses and individuals across Pennsylvania. We're also licensed in Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, and North Carolina, which matters for clients whose businesses cross state lines or whose employees work in multiple states.

Same-day quotes and certificates of insurance are standard for commercial clients who need proof of coverage before a job starts. One agent handles your account — not a rotating team, not a call center — and you reach the same person every time.

Our Clients Say It Best.

Honest Conversations. Real Solutions. Long-Term Thinking.

The right insurance partner makes your coverage simpler, not more complicated. That means being transparent about what each policy covers, direct about what you don't need, and responsive when something comes up.

Our mission is straightforward: grow through honesty, trust, and total client support. We serve businesses and families from Harrisburg and Camp Hill to Pittsburgh, Philadelphia, Scranton, and Erie — and for clients whose needs extend beyond Pennsylvania, we're licensed in Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, and North Carolina.
